The Raven The Raven written by Edgar Allan Poe is a very famous poertry. "The most obvious symbol is the Raven its self. Poe uses the non-reasoning raven because he wants to make us wondering why he had chosen the raven from all the other birds., and frustrate us by wondering why the raven is repeating the word nevermore. He is surprised to hear the bird speak and he thinks that no living human has ever had a bird just sit there and talk to him, and with such a name as Nevermore. This might be the point where he realises that he is dying. It is also important that the answers to the questions are already known, but in a way it helps to illustrate the self-torture the narrator exposes himself to. Another symbol is the Pallas. . It seemed that the bird had a purpose for being there. In the whole room the raven decides toperch on the Greek Goddess of Wisdom, because in a way or another he is trying to make us believe that the raven speaks from wisdom? Or was Poe just using a word only some could interpret? "And the Raven, never flitting, still is sitting, still is sitting On the pallid bust of Pallas just above my chamber door; And his eyes have all the seeming of a demon's that is dreaming, And the lamp-light o'er him streaming throws his shadow on the floor; And my soul from out that shadow that lies floating on the floor Shall be lifted NEVERMORE." Through this quotation the bird has disobeyed him and is just sitting above the door staring at him. His soul is caught under the bird shadow as he passes away and it is lifted up to heaven and his fair Lenore. Poe uses midnight and December for the time the story takes place because both represent an end to something, and alsothe anticipation of something new. A new year comes after midnight, also a new day; and December represents the end of a year. Finally when I picture the room the narrator is positioned in and remembering the past, remembering how weak and weary he felt. He remembers himself he was like a lonely and sorrowful, and the richly furnished room reminds him of his lost love,

The debate over proper models to use in counseling is one that Dr. Larry Crabb focuses on in his book, Effective Biblical Counseling. He explores the relationship that people have with each other as well as with God. Crabb provides the readers with a variety of approaches that can be used with intergrating the word and counseling. Primary Goal Author Lawrence J. Crabb opens by highlighting his prior book, Basic Principles of Biblical Counseling. In his introduction he points out how the problems in the life of Christians begin to surface as they begin to accept a greater fellowship with God and man. With these issues also comes the need for spending more time in the body of Christ. This may often include counseling. The primary goal that Crabb has is with creating a biblical model for counseling that can be integrated into the church. Development of Problems and Personal Needs With people licing out their lives, there comes a time when crisis may occur. Sometime there have been hidden issues within a person’s life for  years, however these issues may not manifest until that person seeks a deeper relationship with God and man. As a person seeks out truth and faithfulness, that person is able to find favour in the sight of God and man. (Proverbs 3:3-5) As the issues are hidden in the heart of man, they may not be able to properly articulate these issues but more importantly they may not have a clear understanding of the proper outlets to use to deal with these issues. Crabb expresses his ideas through stating that Christiaans have a call on their life to be encouragers to others. If as Christians we are not supporting or ministering to others as they go through storms, then we are failing them. A great deal of issues are surrounded by the maturity levels of Christians. As mentioned by Paul, the immature Christian tends to quarrel more while also reacting to their circumstances with negativity. On the other hand, the mature Christian seeks out Christ. As they seek out Christ, they are seeking to worship God and if they fall into trials of sin, they are able to fear the Lord and depart from evil. They are able to get to a place of reconciliation in a quicker way. Biblical Integration One thing that Crabb does is make reference to the Lord and his word. He references Paul as well as he quotes 2 Corinthians in his early chapters. As the book moves forward he continues to build the bridge of the model with the life of the Christian in both theology and pscychology. Achieving positive health state is crucial for me to achieve positive health state, (Johnstone, Fanzo Cogil, 2014). As i grow up, there is need for me to ensure, that i acquire all i need n my educational which will help me in bringing the food on the table. After my graduation, i expect to be employed in a good job and start earning. In this way i will strive to ensure food security is my top priority if i want to gain entry and achieve positive health state. Housing Housing factor has played a significant role in ensuring positive health outcomes among the people. Housing has been prioritised as one of the basic necessities of healthful living. Often lack of the purchasing power and strained economic resources has been categorised as on of the impeding factor for acquisition of better housing for people, (Mikkonen Raphael, 2010, pp. 29). Shelter has been termed as the basic requirement for better health outcomes among the health state of the people. As i have been growing up my parents have really struggled to achieve better housing state and has improved my health status. Striving for my educational levels in the school has been the most important aspect in my life. Going through the education system and striving to achieve excellence, will enable me in the future to acquire the basic social determinant of housing and shelter, (Moll et al., 2014). Our school has been providing this essential health parameter, hence the reason why we are healthy. Unclean shelter facilities are greatest danger to our livelihoods and health state. My struggles in achieving excellence in school and working towards employment, is a better way of ensuring that i get better housing and shelter. Social safety nets Social safety nets have been described as range of benefits, which have ensured that citizens are supported during their different life stages events which they encounter. The various transition phases of healthy life often play significant role in te state of health of the people, (Mikkonen Raphael, 2010, pp 35). In my life, there is evidence of how government actions have been implemented to protect the people and shielding them of better health outcomes. As I struggle and work hard in school my aim has been to achieve better health care outcomes later in future, (Gassman-Pines Hill, 2013). I have been working hard in school so as to secure myself and my family in future better health outcomes and achieve positive state of health and even have healthy life. My acquired skills and knowledge gained gives me an opportunity to work hard in my studies, so as to get the basic necessities in life. With view of my ability, i hope that i will have positive impact on health state of the social disenfranchised citizens who are facing difficulties in achieving positive health outcomes. Conclusions These mentioned factors of health care determinants, play a crucial role in my field of social work. Lack of free socialization and inability to achieve positive health is a key determinant in the health state of the people. These issues are likely to affect how my clients are able to socialise and achieve positive health state. Lack of key basic factors like housing units, low education levels, food insecurity and the un employment state have a factor in their state of health . Thus encountering limitation of these factors is likely to play a significant factor in my health state, later in life which leads to impediment in achieving free and happy society. As professional social worker, my role as change agent is crucial. There is need for strategizing of how the needs of the people are met and to also improve their support system so as to achieve better health outcomes.
